About  Rebekah

I believe many people burn out not only because they work in high-pressure, under-resourced or misaligned environments, but because those environments activate the very survival patterns they learned early in life. The workplace does not just cause burnout. It triggers something much older.

Understanding that distinction is what changes everything.

Burnout Recovery Specialist & Coach — EMCC Accredited, NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse

What I bring

I am Rebekah Esdale, a burnout recovery specialist and coach with over 20 years of experience as an NMC registered mental health nurse, nutritional therapist and EMCC accredited coach.

My foundation is clinical. I know what this landscape looks like from inside services that try to help, and I know where those services often fall short.

My approach is integrative, bringing together coaching, psychology, nervous system awareness, nutritional therapy, somatic practice and practical workplace strategy. Not as a menu of techniques, but as a coherent way of working with the whole person: your history, your body, your environment and your capacity.

My practice is neuroinclusive. I am experienced in supporting people with ADHD, autism, chronic health conditions and perimenopause.

This work began with my own experience.

I know what it is to push through. To keep going when your body and brain are screaming for rest. To feel like you are failing because you cannot keep up with what everyone else seems to manage.

I have experienced burnout,  illness and the impact of working in systems that were not designed with my needs in mind. I also know what it is to slowly, gently rebuild. To find ways of working and living that are actually sustainable, that honour my needs and values, and that do not require me to abandon myself in the process.

That experience is not something I always speak about. But it is the reason this practice exists in the form it does.

How my work has evolved.

What I offer now is the result of years of learning, unlearning and integrating, in my own life and alongside my clients. It has grown from a focus on fixing burnout to a deeper exploration of what burnout is trying to tell us about our lives, our work and the systems we are part of.

Today, my work is less about getting you back to normal and more about helping you build a new way of life that actually works for you.
